This solid machined pulley with clutch bearing replaces the OEM Pinwheel Brake or OEM Idler Pulley. When converting from the OEM Pinwheel Brake, you will also need to order 162-8056 (Idler Arm).

Standard pinwheel brakes can wear over time, and if not caught, can damage pinwheel belts. With a pulley that turns with the pinwheel belt, this problem is virtually eliminated. With the addition of a one way directional bearing, positive pinwheel braking is still achieved on the machine.
